About us

On the 13th September, 1986 a major change took place:

  • The Ex-Servicemen’s Club License was changed to a Registered Club License.
  • The Club was opened to include citizens of good repute.
  • The name of the club was changed to Bundaberg & District R.S.L. and Citizens' Memorial Club

The Bundaberg & District R.S.L. and Citizen's Memorial Club became incorporated on the 23rd of May 1990.

Since then the Bundy Services Club has grown it's membership, expanded the club facilities, and in turn, contributed more back to the local community including veteran bodies, sporting organisations, children's charities, local community events etc.

We are a non-profit organisation and all surplus funds are returned to provide amenities and services to our members, as well as the local community and we currently employ approximately 70 local people.

The Club completed it's latest renovation in September 2012, and purchased a small local sporting club - Bargara Bowls and Sports Club in December 2014 - now known as 'Sandhills Sports Club' (Home of Bargara Bowls)
